Policies 

Tack-Ons 

• Found shoes will be replaced at no charge, excluding the cost of any applicable add-ons.
• Lost shoes are $25.00, plus any applicable add-ons.

*We cannot guarantee tack-ons for stops outside our coverage area. 

*Chronic pullers who are losing shoes due to previously discussed conditions that are outside of our control (no bell-boots when recommended,  living in deep mud, pawing a wire fence, etc.) may be charged the cost of a single-horse-stop trim ($100.00) plus travel for requested tack-ons.

Travel

• A travel charge up to $1.00 / mile may apply for stops that are within our coverage area but do not correlate with an existing rotation.

*Stops outside our coverage area will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Overgrowth

• A minimum $15.00 additional charge will apply to moderate-to-severe overgrowth recovery cases. (Examples here.)
• More extreme cases (ie: skis, curling, etc.) will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. 

*At our discretion, we charge in accordance with the additional work and time required. 

*Horses that are not safe to work under must be sedated under the direction of a veterinarian. 

Catching & Holding

We ask that owners have their horses haltered, caught, and held (or cross-tied if safe to do so) for appointments. With prior discussion, we may be able to catch & hold.

•  Stalled horses can be caught at no charge. 
• Penned horses may be caught at a minimum of $10.00 / horse. 
•  If horses can't be safely and easily cross-tied or dallied; there is a minimum holding charge of $10.00 / trim, $35.00 / half-set, and $60.00 / full-set. 

 *To be caught; horses must be stalled, or penned in a confined area. Horses penned outside may be rescheduled during poor weather.  

*Horses that may require sedation, and/or are difficult to catch or hold will be refused for this service.

Cancellations

• At our discretion, a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the scheduled services will be implemented when cancellations are made with less than a full day's notice. 

*To minimize disruption, we ask clients contact us as soon as they are aware that they will need to reschedule an appointment. 

*We strive to keep a tight schedule and are unable to accommodate frequent and/or last minute appointment cancellations.
